ok, i bought a 97 accord se with a blown engine in it for $500. the good deal is, when i bought the car the guy gave me a new engine from another accord. i put the engine in and got it running, i had to have the car towed to a shop to get the cv axels re-done so it would drive. ive never owned a honda or know what they are supposed to sound like.

i have the car in my garage and when i start it up it revs up to about 2 grand and stays there for a lil bit and then starts going down....when it gets to the point to where it doesnt need to be choked to keep it running i get a pinging sound when the rpms go down but if u rev it up the sound goes away? the car is in nuetral when i started it. i cant tell where the sound is coming from but under the hood. anyone have an idea?
