Just wondering if any one else out there has had this problem.My power steering ha been making a terrible noise,fluid bubbling over like crazy.I thought at first maybe just a hose was loose.But they were all good.Next i changed the pump it still didnt work.I think my steering rack is bad.It just seems to soon for that to be going out and yes warranty is out.Had it 3 years now.

 

If you haven't double checked your warranty you may have a few months left, I'd start there, if it's bubbling over even after replacing the pump then chances are you've got an airleak somewhere in the system... are you using only honda Power steering fluid? don't use off brand stuff it's not good....very bad in fact....

 

by the way i found the problem it was just an o ring missing.Like a 50 cent part and everytime i put a new pump on it caused mor air to get in the lines! mineke said my rack was bad took it to the dealer and they put a new oring in for me.

 

thanks for the update... do you by chance know which o-ring it was? part numbers location or anything for future referance?

 

sorry i dont know off hand but i believe it was an o ring where the pump and line meets at
