about 2 years ago this was my wifes car and she was driving across state to vist fam and the power steerign pump went out. while up there her uncle and put a new one on but i think he put the wrong fulid in it. by putting the wrong fulid in can that cause a problem? right now its leaking like a ****. just wondering if that could be the reason?

yes, honda PS racks are finicky about their fluid, if it's the wrong fluid it may very well blow a seal, not a guarantee but a strong possibility...
