Power steering pump
I have a 2004 v6 Honda Accord coupe when the car is running it feels like there is no power steering fluid going to the pump the car also makes a whining noise when running. Anyone know what the problem is?

We had a whine develop in our 2004 approx 2 years ago. The cause was a slight deterioration in the O ring allowing air to get into the fluid. Under a buck for the part, easily replaced.

There's several videos on YouTube describing the whine and o-ring solution described above.
Edit: See my post in this thread https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...g-noise-64577/ There's a couple videos on the o-ring fix, as well as power steering noises. Hopefully helps a little. |
