hey guys im new on these forums and i recently purchased a 94 accord lx 5 speed with 154k...im going to smog it tomorrow so i can register it, but the mph side of the speedo is not working, neither is the cruise control..from what i read it may be the vss..anyway does anyone know if my car will fail the CA smog check because of this?? should i fix this problem first?? thanks for the help

 

Depends on the state laws...my 95 would pass as it only needs a "safety check"....meaning- tires, exhaust, lights and a few other basic stuff needs to be in order.....cel on, I'd still pass....other states may be different.

 

just giving an update....i asked the guy at the smog station he said it wouldnt be a prob and i passed
