Default Radio

Just met my girlfriend. Her radio, and maybe other electronics in her car does not work. She stated to me that her battery had been disconnected for some reason. How do I get her radio and electronics to work again?

First, reconnect the battery...

Then assuming its a recent Honda, there should be a radio code which has to be entered. You will have to post the make and model of the vehicle in order to get any worthwhile help.

She has been driving the car for weeks this way. It is a 2003 Accord. She does not have the manual for the car. I am just trying to get what direction I should go to rectify the problem.

Hold the one and six buttons while you turn the radio on; the radio should then give you a reference code.
Write the code down and stop by the local honda parts dept.
Have the VIN# handy as well
They should be able to give you the code you need to get the radio working again

Thanks Hondadude. I will give it a try when I see her next. I hope it works.
