Red face Radio Code?

Hi All, newbie here and glad to have found you. I have just bought my wife an Accord 2001-2 and after changing the battery there is now an error showing on the radio. I have checked all the books that were with the vehicle and cannotfind the code to reset it. Can anyone help with this please?

Cheers

It would have been on a little plastic card the size of a credit-card, in with the owner's manuals. Or maybe still in the previous owner's junk drawer in the kitchen...

Go to www dot ahm-ownerlink dot com
(Honda owner's link)
Sign up with the car's VIN.
I think the radio code is available there?

After you got the serial number from the radio by pressing 1 and 6 on the radio. You may have to go to the dealer in person with the proof of ownership, the dealer will give you the code in like 2 minutes. They used to give you the code over the phone, but not any more for security purpose. What's good for anti-thief radio if any body can get it over the phone right ?
Or another option is, got your code and go to radio-code.com and pay them $20 and them will get you the unlock code within 24 hr. They're great.
