Default Random, P1164 Code, 02 Accord 4 Cyl.

Hi, I get a Random P1164 code, I know it is for 1 st Bank o2 sensor Perf Prob. I can go months with out it and then I'll get it a bunch of times in a month. I have replaced the o2 sensor twice since i have had the car with factory Honda Sensors, the current one has 39,000 Miles on it. I replace front and back in pairs.

That is for a Civic, I know Honda has one for the Accord, also, I would like to check the wiring before replacing the ECU. Anyone know where the connectors and stuff are? Since mine is a 02 I may or may not have the upgrade ECU already.

So the check engine light keeps coming on and going off, it'll be on for a day or two then off for a day or two, does this sound like A ECM issue or a bad connection? Thanks

check the A/F sensor relay in the underhood fuse/relay box. pull it out, check for corrosion, looseness, etc...
