Default Rear Bearings

While servicing the rear brakes on my Gen 4 wagon, I've noticed the right side bearing feels a bit notchy. It turns free but feels like it's catching on something as it turns. Should this be serviced? What's involved?
Left side is tight and smooth.

I don't know if the rear hubs on the 1997 (Gen 5?) Accords are like the rear hubs of my 2001 (Gen 6) Accord, but if they are, it is far simpler/cheaper to buy the whole hub instead of trying to replace individual bearings.

First be sure that what you are feeling is not the disk rubbing on the pad. Remove the caliper and feel it that way. Are far as replacing goes they are pretty simple. Remove the spindle nut, pull the hub off, cut the inner race off the spindle as it usually is stuck on and replace with your new hub. Note that on that car the hub and bearing are sold as one piece.

After I ordered the parts I noticed the other side has just a bit of catch as I rotate hub (rotor off).
How long will that one last?
Best guesses please!

Late answer, but the problem is already beginning on the other side.

No good way to guess remaining life, but at some point it'll begin getting worse. (It aint gonna get better)

You already know how to replace it, so you might as well plan for that to happen before too long. You can shop around for the parts without having to buy it RIGHT NOW. Wheel bearings don't usually get worse very quickly, but don't wait too long.

For anyone looking at this thread- I made a bad diagnosis. What I thought was a bad rear bearing was actually the ABS sensor bent to the point of interference with the star wheel on the hub assembly. First time I've seen this on any car.

Wow, first I've heard that also.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for coming back to tell us the story. Too often we never hear the resolution.

No, you can use any aftermarket part made to fit your car.

I have no idea what you are asking; can you please rephrase the question.
