Haynes manual states that Honda recommends a rear pad change when front pads are replaced.
True?

 

i would not replace the rear pads when changing the frts,, replace pads when needed ,,,,,,,And as for the statement in Haynes manual i have not heard that Honda reccomends replacing frt + rear pads at the same time ,,
So ,,replace brake pads as needed

Thanks for the response.
After reading and reviewing Haynes, it's clear they meant pairs and not both front and rear pads.
I would not have imagined that someone would replace setpads one at a time.
Probability much less than one.
