remote start
i was thinking of getting a remote start alarm.. and i heard that there is a chip or something in the original keys.. and that theyre going to have to leave the keys in the ignition for it to work.. is this true?

RE: remote start
no there is another product that you will have to buy that will deactivate that when you use the remote start.

RE: remote start
oh ok thanks..
that was a fast reply by the way!! |
RE: remote start
yes youshould need an extra key, just go to honda and get a key blank do not have them cut the key. Just make sure you get the right key you should see a stamp on the metal part of the key close to the plastic, that is the resistor freq.
*edit* and if you feel like doing it yourself here is a link to a wiring diagram for your car http://www.commandocaralarms.com/wir...ccord/666.html |
RE: remote start
Lightshow... Accords began having immobilizers in '98. That's indicated by a green lamp in the cluster, shaped like a key.
