Remote trunk release not working - '98 accord coupe v6

Default Remote trunk release not working - '98 accord coupe v6
I have a '98 accord v6 coupe - trunk release button not working on the remotes. i tried them both and neither works but they both work fine for unlocking/locking the doors. I checked all the connectors i could find around the trunk latch and none were loose. Still not working, any suggestions?

Mine doesn't either. Has anyone fixed this problem?
