I am attempting to recover the front seats in my 1994 Honda Accord. I have removed the seats and removed all of the trim except the trim around the seatback release lever. I cannot figure out how to get this piece of trim off from around the lever. Do I need to disconnect the spring attached to the lever? If so, does anyone have a "easy" way to accomplish this? Or, does the plastic "coating" around the metal lever arm come off? If so, how?
