removing front license plate mount
My home state doesn't issue front license plates, but the state I bought my 2013 Sport in does, so I'd like to remove the front bracket. I guess there are a couple screws holding it on, so I'd need to plug the holes afterward. What's the best way to go about the whole procedure? I'm assuming this can be a DIY job, so if not, feel free to set me straight. Thanks!

Removing is just taking off the two self-tapping screws and unhooking it.
For older Honda Civics, CRXs, Integras, S2000, etc., Honda sold OEM bumper plugs (oblong shape) for their threaded holes. However, there are no OEM bumper plugs to fill these round holes made with the self-taping screws for the 2013 Accords.
You can, however, buy aftermarket color-matched bumper plugs for your 2013 Accord for $24.95/pair at BumperPlugs dot com.

If the bracket attaches like the one on my 03, the holes are under the lip, so there are no holes in the painted part that will show when you take the bracket off. I really doubt there will be any holes that need to be plugged.

I looked at the pic, but I can't believe they have gone back to putting holes in the face of the bumper, when it's not necessary. I remember my 92 had bumper plugs that came with the car. I found them inside the little change drawer near the driver's side door. Maybe the plugs are included with the new cars too. Might want to take a look inside the glove box. Seems like a good idea (putting the mounting holes under the lip) would stick.

Didn't find anything anywhere in the car. E-mailed the dealer to see what they know, waiting for answer. BumperPlugs doesn't do Hematite, so if I wanted plugs from them, they'd be the wrong color or a custom order, $150 for 3 pair.
Maybe I'll just move to a state that issues front plates.

Preval Spray Gun Aerosol Paint & Chemical Sprayer Disposable 1.94oz. Propellant w/Reuseable 6 Ounce Jar
The Preval 9 oz. complete spray gun (MFG Model #267) is only $4.97 at Home Depot, it is the same model number. You can use it with the Honda touch-up paint bottle. Some primer first will probably make it look better.
