Hello all,

First off I am a newb here, so if my answer exists in a previous post, please let me know and I will read it.

Okay on to my query...

I replaced the low beam bulb in my 2004 Accord EX V6. When I went back and turn the car on, the light works on low beams but the DRLs (I'm from Canada = DRLs...) don't work now and the DRL warning light is on.

Any thoughts as to what I may have done wrong. My first guess is wrong bulb...

When I turn the lights on to low beam mode, the DRL warning light turns off, so I will just drive like that I suppose.

Any tips would be great.

I have replaced a few thousand headlights and never had that happen to me..so I dought that...what was the bulb number you put in the socket?

Bulb # was 9006, , on the drivers side... Getting it in there sucks...

Well you do have the correct bulbs for sure...

 

Wife got in the car today and started it up... DRLs came on and now the warning light is off... problem solved.

Odd...

Anyway, Thank you for the help. Great site!! Now I see myself wanting to buy nice addons for my car! Tis already fast but I like the looks of some of the rims and lights you guys have put on.
