Default replacing F22A1 with F22A6

I need a new engine as mine consume oil in a big way(burns it). wrecking yard says I can use the F22A6 from a '93 they have if I use the intake and wiring from the F22A1 in my '90. is this true? do the 2 intakes use the same gasket? I hope this will work cause I have to let them know soon if I want the engine.

Just curuios how many miles do you have on that engine. Anyhow, i thinik it would fit no prb. But if you gonna spend money on a new engine might wanna thing about getting a h22. It got 190bhp. that around 50 more then what you got right now. PLus it isnt that much expsenvie. Also if you car burns alot of oil i recommand using engine restore 4-cylinder forumal. I heard it works wonders. But thats what i heard plus it only cost 6buck a bottle. Worth trying.

if the engine is shot that engine restore crap isn't going to hurt it anymore but it probably won't last very long.... and if you put it in and the car stops smoking and you try to sell it off to someone without telling them what you did then someone should kick your hiney.... that's a REALLY dirty move (I'm not saying you would do that, I'm sure you wouldn't but thought I'd mention it....) otherwise I'd do like racer4vtec mentioned and look at the cost of putting in a h22a....
