OK when I first start the car it idles at 1k and will go past 4k on acceleration after a few min I suppose once the car is warm it won't go past 4k and idles rough from 1k to almost 250. The 1k to 1500 only happened once and that was just driving across the parking lot and stopping. I have not had the vcodes pulled I guess I should have that done this vacation #24 is for ABS? Where does it go? Thanks

You said that this is 96 LX accord. Are you sure about that? You have a vtec engine in there, so it should be an EX accord, or the engine was swapped out.

On the VIN that is on the driver's part of the dash near the bottom of the windshield, what is your number that I put in bold below? The sedan and coupe have some differences between them, but the trim level digit is the same.

Sedan:
1HGCD564
Coupe:
1HGCD714

Then you have an EX accord with leather seats.

If you have a parts store nearby, let them scan it for codes. The connector is behind the ash try. Post the actual code on here. It starts with the letter P and has 4 numbers, like P1234.

One hose goes to the cruise control, the other goes to the IAR valve. If you downloaded that 94 shop manual I mentioned in an earlier post, the vacuum routing is shown on page 11-8.

This means that you have an EX accord and have an EX engine. The trunk should have an EX emblem on it. If not either the emblem or the trunk was replaced with an LX.

Copy and paste into your browser:

spoonertuner.com/manuals

Accord 1994 CD7 CD9 USDM JDM Service Manual

The 94 and 96 are almost identical.

I didn't realize that the spooner link took out the direct downloads. Copy and paste this link in your browser. It should prompt you that you are downloading a zip file.

downloads.hondatech.info/Auto/Manuals/Accord/Ab0VE.Honda%20Accord%201994.zip
