Smile RPM rises a little bit later after the accelerator pedal is pressed.

Hi Guys:
I bought a Honda accord 2008 v6 3.5l automatic a few months ago.
There is a problem with this car: the rmp pointer rises a little bit later after setpping on the accelerator. The acceleration from zero is not good...
Does anyone have the same issue? What could be the problem?

Any information will be really appreciated.

Regards,
WH

Welcome to the forums. I can't answer your question as I don't have a newer Honda or a V6. You might try searching the General Tech thread, or the engine tread for an answer though.

I'm going to move this over to General Tech where it'll get more views & probably more help.

But first a few questions...
How many miles have you put on it during the few months you had it?
Has this started suddenly? If so, was anything done to the car at that time?
Does the check-engine light stay on? (Does the check-engine light come on for 2 seconds when you start?)
You say the acceleration "from zero"... Is the acceleration any better once it's going?
