IT RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My honda accord 96 finally runs. the guy around the corner fom me came by and looked at it. turns out, half an hour later, it runs. there was a little bit of oil inside the distributor, causing it not to spark. the best part is, it was free.!
assuming it was the little oil in the distributor,,Unless you replace the distr the problem will arise again, there is a seal in the distr shaft that gets worn once it starts to leak you get oil inside the distr cap, you cannot get the seal ( that i know of ) so if it gets worse distr needs to be replaced
are there any kits to totaly redo all of the ignition system? also, i found a billet distributor for a 93 through 95 accord, but does msd make a billet distributor for a 96 accord? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I found this distributor seal for hondas for ~$10. It is still expensive, but worth a shot.
