Rust advice please?
Hello! I just noticed some tiny rust spots (about 5 of them) on the edge of the hood on my 14 accord. A shop quoted me $900 to fix. Does this seem about right to you? Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

You should be covered under Honda warranty. Check you manual to see how long the paint protection is

Just another viewpoint... I might try touching it up myself, but I don't expect that to look perfect. But I'd pay attention to cleaning it up & doing a good job with rust-inhibiter so it doesn't come back.
I guess if you're going to get it done, that translates into making sure the shop does a good job with the rust protection. I wouldn't want to keep doing it again & again. |
