Default Serpentine Belt

We have a 2015 Honda Accord, purchased new. We have 105,000 on the odometer now. Is there a warning given before the serpentine belt gives out, or should we have it replaced now due to high mileage?
Thanks.
Lynn

The only warning is the belt getting little cracks in it, or squealing & slipping. I think there's only a schedule for inspecting it for signs like that.

This is better in General Tech so I'll move it...

Inspect for cracks going across the belt. You should have an automatic tensioner, where a spring keeps the proper belt tension. Over time, the belt stretches, so there is usually an arrow on the tensioner and a "good" range on the tensioner body. If the arrow is outside that range, then replace the belt.

FYI, my belt on my TSX is at least 9 years old and I haven't had to replace. Just make sure you inspect it.

Thanks for letting us know that we are to be inspecting the serpentine belt in our Honda. I appreciate the tips on what it will look like when it needs replacing.
