Hello everyone,
I have a 1999 Accord EX VTEC and one or maybe 2 functions of the motorized drivers seat do not work. Since the motors are fairly expensive I was wondering if anyone had swapped out an original seat for a manual aftermarket type.
I noticed there is a harness under the seat but don't know what else besides the seat it might control. Please if anyone can chime in I would really appreciate it.

There is a sensor in the seat belt buckle that the air bag system uses. You may be able to find replacement motors for your at a local junkyard for fairly cheap.

Thanks for your input that is what I was concerned with. The motor or motors that are currently not working bring the seat higher and the back of the seat is declined too far back. However it does go forward and backwards.
