Service Schedule Question
I have a 2013 Accord EX-L (CVT) with almost 22K miles on it and I almost feel silly asking this question.
Before I go write any else, YES, I know there is that wonderful thing called a "Maintenance Minder" built into my car...hey unless my car car can directly talk to me I simply don't trust it...and for those of us that regularly care for our cars by doing PREVENTATIVE maintenance...well here's my question.
Does anybody have (or can point me towards) a good general maintenance schedule for my Accord?
I already change my oil every 5K (Mobil1 & K&N filters) so I'm more curious about things like;
- Coolant
- ATF
- Brake Fluid
- Spark Plugs
I know the spark plugs have iridium tips...aren't these good for something close to 100K miles...?
Coolant...I think every other year or every 50K miles...?
ATF & Brake Fluid...I have no idea.
Thanks in advance!

- Coolant: Honda Maintenance Minder (MM) sub-code item 5. Honda MM probably at approx. +- 120,000 miles, then every 60,000 miles/ Benardi Honda Parts shows 5 years/60,000 miles life . I would change at every 2-3 years/30,000 miles
- CVT Fluid (not referred to or the same as ATF): Honda MM probably approx. +- 60,000 miles. I would recommend 2-3 years/30,000 miles
- Brake fluid: Honda recommends every 3 years. Honda MM does not show brake fluid sub-code. I recommend every 2-3 years.
- Spark plugs; Honda MM sub-code item 4. Honda MM probably at approx.+- 105,000. I would recommend at 100,000 – 105,000.
My mistake this is the old one, thanks bull
