Sport Compact/Mini Stock
New to the forum, figured this is the place for answers. I picked up a 94 Accord 4door Auto 2.2L for $150 today to convert into a dirt track race car. It’s going to be gutted and have a roll cage racing seat and harness installed only thing left in In the interior will be the dash cluster and wiring. The AC/heater will all be removed with all components. I’m planning on removing the cat running a straight pipe. Adding an intake. I was wondering if it’s possible to jump the OBD1 plug and manually advance the timing to increase the HP and if so what setting. Only allowed to change intake and exhaust from stock Exhaust manifold back track rules. Rest of Powertrain must be stock. Looking for timing advice and any other advice maybe tuning could help. Thanks for the info!

Welcome! Moving this to General Tech because the "new user" area is pretty much for welcome & introduction posts.
For 1994 I think all you have to do is advance the timing with the distributor. Jumpering that plug simply prevents the ECM from changing the timing in response to what you're doing.
However, I'm not sure advancing it is going to do much for you. If you get to use race gas that's higher octane, maybe then it'll help, but if you're stuck with regular pump gas then advancing timing probably won't help. Check it, and maybe advance it close to the limit but within the "stock" tolerance band.
