I own a 2014 Sport that I've been having starting issues with. It began with an occasional no start no crank but would start up after several attempts. It recently became very unreliable and still starts up but after many many attempts.

I had the alternator, battery, and starter checked but they all tested good at AutoZone. I replaced the ignition switch and checked fuses and several relays.

After I did some research it looked like lots of ninth gen owners had to replace their starter. When I had it tested at AutoZone they said it was on the low end of passing so I think I'm going to try and replace it anyway...

How do I go about looking for a replacement starter? I noticed AutoZone had two options, automatic or CVT? Once I know which one I need I think I will try and find a salvaged or rebuilt one. The CVT one looks like it's close to $340 at AutoZone so that won't be an option.. I could use all the help I can get. Thanks.
