Starting Problem 89 Accord LXi

Default Starting Problem 89 Accord LXi

yesterday my son moved the car to cut the grass when the grass was cut he moved it back and parked it 30 minutes later my wife goes and gets in it to go to the store and it would not spin at all battery is hot cleaned the battery post still nothing could someone help me out. THANKS

Auto or manual? Check the voltage of the cables at the starter, what are they reading?

Ok, let us know....I only asked about the trans because IF further tests are needed this will be important information.

finally got a chance to check things out here is what i know.Battery is good Starter is good and key switch is good i think the clutch pedel switch is bad so how can i check it its a 5 speed i can start the car with a button from under the hood by hooking a wire to the hot post and one wire to the starter cranks right up so where do you think my problem is Thanks Again ALL

Check for continuty across the pins....or just jump them, oh, BTW that is why I asked about the trans.

Not sure if you got the PM.....In the pic the left pedal is the clutch pedal....is #7 missing? And the PN # I sent was the right one.....@ $3 at the dealer, they have plenty as that plug was used for years on Honda's, not only for the clutch pedal but if you ever fine your brake lights stuck on, guess what.

no it was # 6 the upper one THANKS again for ur help BUT NOW i have another problem with my other 89 accord lxi its a auto i took the MAIN RELAY off of it the one thats above the left kick panel on driver side thats hard to take off and put it on the 5 speed when i was checking it put the one off the 5 speed on auto and now all it will do is spin over but want hit a lick HELP AGAIN
