starting problem 96 accord lx 5spd
If it turns out to be the starter and you have a Denso starter, you may be able to just replace the contacts, or the contacts and plunger and have it working again.

You do need the right contacts part #s for your application though, as what is listed for the Integra may or may not be the same. Honda doesn't carry the repair parts; but, Toyota does, in addition to aftermarket sellers.

Again fuel psi is dropping, had the same problem with my civic turned out to be regulator. Check the regulator fuel filter and pump.
Fuel pressure could cause difficulty in starting, however it would not cause slow starter turn-over.
From your post, I thought you had a slow turn-over problem. I know you had a problem w/ cut-off after starting, but let's solve one problem at a time.
good luck

The initial crank the fuel psi is not high enough so injection is off. There fore none of the piston are not igniting correct giving you a slow crank.
