Default Stumbling 95 Accord

My 95 accord dx stumbles while crusing at steady speeds, anyhere from 30 to 70 Mph. Kinda like a shudder. Have tuned up and run injector cleaner and no result. It does not do it while cold. Can this be the Transmission. ???

Thanks Steve

It might be the tranny locking & unlocking the torque converter. Easier to say by driving it firsthand, it kinda feels different than a misfiring problem.

You'll get better answers by postingin the "General Tech Help" section. This "New Member"section is kinda general introduction & welcome. Some of us don't visit here all the time. Plus, list exactly what what was done for the tune-up that you mention.

So... Welcome to HAF. I hope we can help youfigure this out.

Have you noticed any consitency between the RPM range when it happens? A semi-common issue for cars of that age is a stumble/shudder at around 2000-2500 RPM's regardless of speed, that happens due to plugged EGR ports. Also, with tune-ups on honda's stick with NGK spark plugs

I used factory plugs and cap and rotor. Only thing found was a spark plug gasket leaked oil from valve cover to soak 1 wire, thought that was problem but not. Will look into RPM. That makes sense though. It never happens on accelaration just steady crusing speed 138,000 miles.
I will monitor the RPM. Thanks

Stumble occurs 1500 to 2500 RPM. Will get EGR ports checked. What are these EGR ports

... What are these EGR ports
Passageways thru the head & intake for Exhaust-Gas Recirculation. The ports and/or the EGR valve can cause the problem. Maybe Desert has a DIY instruction thread over in the DIY section? (I didn't look)
