Default Sunroof Weather Strip

Sigh... back floor board was FULL of water.. I opened the sun roof and noticed the weather strip is ripped along the back in about a 2 inch section..

Any quick fixes? Any part number for this?
1997 Honda Accord V6 LX 4 door auto

Any way to patch this instead of replacing?

You can try some silicone on the seal to get it back together.

You will have to look at a site like hondapartsnow.com for the OEM part number and price.

Is it part number 9, or part 11 that is on the glass?

Usually Honda will list the OEM part number even for discontinued parts.

It almost looks like #19 is not available for your LX model. You can get a part number by looking at the EX version of your 97 V6 under roof lining. #19 is a plastic trim piece.

The EX accords from 94-97 came with a sunroof on the 4-cylinder. Maybe your moonroof on your LX was installed as an accessory? Or maybe your accord is an EX?

Hmmm.. Its odd.. Because thats the shape of the weather stripping and the location of it.. But yes, I see that is plastic colored trim.. It doesnt even show to have the glass listed for either LX or EX

Have you checked the rear drain hoses? Most sunroof/moonroof assemblies have front and rear water drains. The seals are more for air noise.

Mine isnt the kind that slides under the roof.. Mine pops up and then moves backwards all my push button.
