Default Sway bar bushings??

Just installed new swaybar end links...here are pics of before and after. My question is whether or not the new bushings are tight enough? I couldn't find any rule of thumb in my repair manuals for how much you should squeeze that thing together?

put a wrench on the bottom bolt and tighten the top nut till tight

looking at the pic after you replaced the bushings , looks like you installed the washers upside down but i cannot honestly tell... the concave ( curved part ) should bo toward the rubber bushing

I definitely put the washers with the concave portion on the bushing side... I used the 2nd assembled end link as an examply while installing the 1st side. I tightened it all together unitl the bushings are touching but not squished.

Well I think you do want the rubber to Squish, so that it will hold the sway bar. As in; fill up the hole in the bushing hole of the sway bar/control arm
Ialways run the nut down to the end of the threads.

I just replaced mine last month and did not get them tight enough and still had noise. I put a wrench on top and ran them down with my 3/8' impact till they were squished and no more nosie.

Cool thanks for the advice, I'll crank the nut down to the end of the threads and then post a new pic. HondaDude, is that really a picture of you in your avatar? (LOL)

Ok, I cranked down the nut to the end of the threads and squished the bushings together. I'm pretty sure this is how its supposed to be.

Enlarging the picture i can now see that you got the washers installed wrong,, the curved part should go toward the rubber bushing ,, they look upside down to me

without seeing that you need sway bar end links/bushings. What are the symptoms that occur to warn you?
