Temp Gauge

I noticed that my temp gauge rests below the mark, and when warmed up, it is not on the middle line. Is this typical?

sounds typical to me. Mine never goes to the middle and when it is cold it rests below the mark.

I second mbo1985, my car does the same. The only time it has even gotten to the half-way mark was when I was driving 90 mph in 100 degree heat and climbing the mountains into Flagstaff arizona, some 6000 feet up.
