Just from the thermostat I can't imagine losing more than a gallon. There's only about 2 gallons total.

But if it's been awhile, this makes a good excuse to drain & change it completely.
That was my thoughts too but I figured it's better to have extra on hand in case you don't have a ride to the auto parts store...

Default Coolant/water mix

I have a 93 accord and I'm going to drain the coolant, so I have 3 questions
1. where is the drain cap or bolt.
2. whats the correct mix of water and coolant, 50/50? or should i just add coolant unmixed?
3. The coolant I bought says its already diluted with water, do I still mix it with water or just add it?
4.what is my radiator capacity, in other words how many galons of coolant should I add or how do i know I've added enough.

Thanks for ur help.

There should be a drain in the bottom-center of the radiator.

Probably another one (to drain the block) on the back of the engine block, near the oil filter. (possibly varies with year & I never owned a 93)

50/50 is correct, and if you have the stuff that is pre-mixed that is probably just what it is.

The capacity is in the owner's manual somewhere, it's probably between 1.5 & 2 gallons.
