Default There is leak - Help please

Fluid keeps dripping on the bottom of the car by the passenger side to the floor. What kind of leak could it be? I do know that I have a leak for my windshield but I have not refilled lately. What can it be?

Is this inside or outside the car?

If outside under it than that is a good leak....it is the water coming off the evap.

If the inside is getting wet under the pass dash....then the evap drain tube is likely clogged....need to clean it out.

Again answer the first question and additional help can be given.

Outside, you know where you get under the car and drain the oil. Its by the passenger side. I did not have this before though.

If it is water, then it is the condensation from the a/c. When you cool hot humid air, you get condensation. It is just like when its very humid and the temperature cools, then you get rain. If the water is draining from the rubber/plastic drain hose on the passenger side of the car on the firewall, then this is normal.

Does it matter what the temperature is where I am driving? It is hot and humid weather today to almost 100 degrees. I did not have this before though or maybe I did not notice?

You've had drainage and did not notice.

Living in Houston, you can see a stream of water falling from a car driving down the road. Way up N, it may be dry enough that you never notice. The conditions you're having in Eastern US are what we live w/ every summer, although this summer has been one for the records in terms of lack of rainfall.

good luck

If this is water and coming from the drain tube...Yes this is normal and good for the car....you don't want it draining "inside" the car.
