Tire Speed Rating rules

i decided to go w/ the bf goodrich traction t/a tires V rated from costco for 418 all in. costs a little more (~80) but hopefully i'll be satisfied w/ them 60k mi warranty.

nice to hear you got some good tires. bf goodrich and michelin are the same company (michelin owns bf goodrich). i have the h rated tire with a 60,000 mile warranty. but, i think i am going to get the michelin energy mxv4 plus tires when these are all worn out. those are probably $100 more than these traction ta's were.

yea the mxv4 ones are about ~100 diff

yeah, my traction ta's are a little noisy at times. i got a 60k mile warranty, but anyways i would rather have new tires when those 60k miles are up. michelin's haven't been on my car in a long long time, and given the fact that they are the oem (original equipment manufacturer) tires it will probably help with the handling even more! gotta love these accords! everyone always talks about civics being reliable, but i personally feel accords will last forever.

and, the best part is that i know of an engine shop around town that does all kind of rebuilding or even better finding "new" honda engines.

how about the BridgestonePotenza RE960A/S Pole Position http://www.bridgestonetire.com/tires...productID=1112 h rated, only 40k mi though.
about 65 price difference.

I don't like Bridgestone I guess ever since I heard about their problems with their tires as well as Firestone. I think the remedy for everything is put a Michelin on it as some people say.
