Default Torque Specifications...

Is there one grand list of torque specifications? I tried checking the service manual but I couldn't find it. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough? I spent a good half hour.

Specifically I'm looking for the specs for the two bolts that hold the IACV on a 1993.

I don't think there is a master list. You will find IACV info in the Fuel & Emmisions section. I looked in my 90 Accord manual and did not see a spec for these bolts. This is an oring seal and I have always tightened to "snug". It will be difficult to get a torque wrench to these bolts. I believe I had to use a closed or open end wrench to access.

good luck

Well on the 1995 the IACV is all the way near the firewall so it's hard to get to it but on the 1993 the IACV is smack in front of me because it's mounted facing me. I can get a torque wrench on it easily.

I was afraid though that I might not tighten it hard enough which might cause whatever passes through it to leak out through the O-Ring but you're right I think, snug should do.

Thanks!
