Default Trailering a popup camper, 01 4cyl..?

I'm considering a "popup" type camping trailer, something with ac/heat unit. Car is an 01 4cyl auto, 156k, rust free, good condition. Would a suspension "upgrade" be beneficial, and, if so, what parts? HD shocks, stabilizer rubber? Understand trans fluid will need frequent c/o.

Yes, the lighter the camper, the better.

Thanks for input...

I would suggest that you install a transmission oil cooler and take a good look at the radiator/cooling system on the car...Those two are suspect in this situation...Front brakes as well !!

I dont think accords have a towing capacity but I could be wrong. I wouldn't tow much beyond what the weight capacity in the car states in the door. Also make sure there is very little weight from the tongue on the car, like almost none.

Owners manual should have towing capacity. It's not particularly large, but it isn't zero either. Maybe 1000 pounds with 100 pound tongue-weight.
