Default tranny delay

Hi...
I have a 05 accord 2d V6 5 speed auto ( 25km on it )
Lately I started noticing that my transmission delays to shift from neutral/park to drive/reverse.
When i shift I can feel the engine pulling right away but very lightly, almost unnoticeable (unless release the brake ) , about a half a second or less I feel the engine pull fully. There is not jerking or any other problems with the transmission. The fluid level seems to be right ( bit over the middle ).
Should I be concerned with this and is it a problem.
Thank you in advance!!!

sounds like everything is fine....when your backing up and you shift to drive.......come to a complete stop and wait until you feel it engage.

thanx for your help guys.

Im gonna post some info for 7th gen owners regarding this issue.
You may or may not notice that your car will engage twice after you shift from park to drive.
It drove me nuts and its still bothering me as it is annoying when you are sitting at the lights and have
to wait a second before it completely engages.
Anyways, I went to dealership and told them about the issue. Apparently the guy I talked to was completely oblivious
of the problem (even tho he spent most of his life working for the dealership) and went on to tell me about
a recall on 03s.
being completely disappointed with the way the mechanic treated me I investigated myself. I took a 05 for test drive and it did the very same this as did my friends 00 civic.
So I guess its just a Honda thing we have to live with.
