Some years there is a connection to power-steering fluid, near the speed sensor. That's one way to have speed-sensitive boost in the power steering.

Dont hook them up to the radiator until you know for sure what they are. I dont own an Accord with that system, so don't just automatically take my word for it... But I've NEVER seen a manual tranny with connections for a tranny-fluid cooler.

x2. An MT simply just does not generate enough heat to necessitate one.

My guess would be the power steering, but for some reason I'm lead to believe that that would be on the steering rack itself.

Here's the steering hoses from a '92 Accord EX. See the VSS over on the left side...
What year is your car? What year did your manual tranny come from? Look at some parts site for pictures of the proper year.

PS... I'm gonna move this to the general tech section.

those are power steering lines; i had to replace that part when my tranny split open, the honda dealership called it the power steering speed sensor.

Also, the intermediate driveshaft mount bolts onto the block via 3 bolts on the car in my sig.

Put your info in your sig so we know what your talkin about

Check hondaautomotiveparts dot com for similar drawings of your car & the '94 Prelude.

I'm not sure, but I bet even if you were to re-arrange your PS hoses into that configuration, your steering would not be able to have that variable boost - most likely the rack itself is different.

Further, I don't know what's the best way to handle that VSS. Do you have to plug the hose nipples? Leave them open? Maybe that doesn't matter?
