Default tranny troubles

i have a 1992 honda accord. runs fine for about 3 blocks.then it has no gears. if i turn it off and let it sit for about 30 seconds, then start it up , it will run fine for another 3blocks. this will continue to keep happen. any ideas --please reply thanks

Sounds like your torque converter failed and clogging up the filter, the filter is picking up the fluid and crap from the transmission as you drive it, when the filter is full of crap and can't filter anymore then it stop working, shut the car off will let the crap settle/sink back down and then you can drive it again for a little bit. Your tranny will need an overhaul with new filter and converter, and remember to flush out the cooler.

Could be the trans but I would check for codes in the TCU first. Then I would check the solenoids and there connections for issues.

Active links are not allowed, at least time I tried.

Then, when was the last time the trans fluid was changed?
