Has the transmission been replaced yet? That generation V6 transmission has well know problems. Sorry for the negative feedback but that is the fact.

Yes the auto trans in that gen (6th generation, 98-02) is not that good.

Are there any codes stored in the PCM?

I know you said the ATF was clean but from the sounds of it - I would do a drain and fill of the trans fluid and use Honda trans fluid. Also be sure it is at the proper level after the change - Honda does have an odd way of checking the trans level.

I've seen/read of cold shifing issues in Honda auto trans when non Honda trans fluid has been used.

Leave the fuse alone, just confusing things. Plus we might have different manuals and #6 drivers under dash might be something else in the manual you have.

When you changed the fluid, what did it look like...smell like? Might need to do another drain and fill

As stated before, the auto's trans in this gen did have more issues than any of the others. So I' hoping fresh fluid will cure the "cold shift" issues. Again if the only issue you are having is when the trans fluid is cold you have a shift delay, I'm still with the fluid. But I'm assuming you have no codes and no other issues with the the trans.

Good to hear.

Just me but I would keep up with the trans fluid changes in the car. IMHO, I would change it (one drain and fill) every 30K.
