1. Honda has updated that transmission to an external filter and removed the internal one. This filter would clog and then 2nd gear would be starved of oil


2. The differential bearings are substandard resulting in leaks from the differential housings at the axle entry points.


3. There is weak oil flow to 2nd gear clutch packs and when #1 happened, trans = dead.


4. 2nd gear shaft overheat and oil jet kit install to fix.
