Transmission issues

Default Transmission issues

my mom has a 2002 with a 4 cylinder and today the transmission was feeling sluggish like it did not know what gear it wanted to be in and i would give it a little more gas and it would down shift too far then i got back in it after an hour or so and it seemed to be fine it does not feel like it is slipping and there is plenty of fluid other than that i dont know a better way to describe it any ideas

Any codes? When was the last time the fluid was changed? Has there been any recent work done to the car.

no codes but i recently had to reinstall the clutch on the a/c witch fell off for some reason i was thinking maybe i do not have it installed correctly because i believe this problem has only happend while using a/c and when i use a/c the car starts getting hot as well

Default A/C

Thats probably whats wrong. If the problem is lack of power you need to find out why clutch came off. they dont just fall off. somethings wrong.
