You probably need to loosen the screw to allow more air in before you unplug the IACV.

The intake leak that is now fixed probably forced you to adjust the idle with too little air flow previously.

Which screw sir?

Idle-Air screw is #1 in the picture; it's above the bore of the throttlebody.

You've fixed the stop screw for the throttle butterfly plate? The plate needs to close as completely as possible without sticking wedged closed.

Vacuum leaks fixed?

You might have had to turn that screw (#1) in all the way in a futile attempt to get the base idle down. Now you'll need to open it a bunch, then unplug the IACV. This time if it doesn't stall immediately you can adjust it for 550rpm base idle.

Thanks for the info, I did the adjust for butterfly last night, and sprayed the vacuum lines everywhere with carb cleaner, didnt find n e thing. Backed off screw, start, unplug, turn in screw, get the idle about 620 then dies.

Im guessing stuff need cleaning? It was all thoroughly cleaned about 25000 ago.

one thing doesnt make sence to me, if I had a vacuum leak, wouldnt it stay
on? Just confused. Thanks again!

You adjusted the throttle butterfly. THAT fixed the "vacuum leak". I'm guessing someone mistakenly used that to adjust the idle, throwing the whole system out of line.

Oh I see, haha my bad.
actually the car had no screw for butterfly, I put one in, and retardedly screwed it in to much, that was,my bad to. But now im just stumped on the die-ing b 4 it reaches 550

Is the engine all warmed up?
ALL loads turned off? AC, headlights, blower, EVERYTHING.

When the IACV is unplugged, it won't compensate for ANY loads, so when the radiator fan decides to run that might kill it.

Also...
1992 also has the boost valve (#9) over on the other end of the intake manifold. That participates somehow, but I never owned a 4th-gen so lets hope Poorman212 chimes in with some help.
