Question Transmission Swap

I have a 2001 Honda Accord LX V6 automatic, and am wanting to change it into a manual. I know this has been done before and am just looking for advice, tips, problems, and parts needed associated with this project.

If a 2001 V6 model has been converted I haven't heard about it. The thing is, there were no V6 Hondas of that era with manual transmissions. Long story short, if you really want a stick, your best bet would be to sell your car and buy one of the (very rare) later models with both a V6 and a manual transmission. That said, if you really want a Gen 6 Accord with a stick, you can swap your car for a 4-Cylinder model; they were available with three pedals under the dash.

Good luck; different generation of car with a high probability of incompatibilities along the way. The swap, if you pull it off, will most likely cost you thousands of dollars, take a lot of time and cost you a lot of aggravation. Probably a heck of a lot cheaper to sell your car and buy a 2006 V6 with a 6-Speed manual.

I've also heard about doing that using CL parts. Not saying it was at all easy...
