RE: transplant
You can get custom tuned ECU's or chip your current one to change the v-tec engagement point and rev-limiter... do a search in google for Honda ecu chip and it will pull up some more information... You can spend anywhere from $25.00 for an e-bay special to $4000.00 for a WRC style computer managment system...

RE: transplant
Increasing your redline won't give you a real power increase since your max power is probably made aroun 5800 - 6000 prms. I plan on getting my hondata set up going soon and I'd be happy to tell you how that goes. Hondata is a programable engine management system for hondas. Check out hondata if you haven't already, you might be interested in it.
