Default Trouble installing fog lights on 07 Accord

Thank you anyone who might be able to help me out.

I am trying to install a Honda fog light kit into an 07 Accord 4 door Manual Transmission 4cyl EX.

I have been following the directions and things were going great. I was able to get into the underhood fuse/relay box and was able to install the two wires that go in there and even put it all back together.

The instructions I am following are here:
hondapartsnow.com/installation/accord/2007-accord-4-door-fog-light-kit.pdf

Where I get in trouble is step 25, I am supposed to connect the 3 pin power connector from the fog light harness to a 3 pin connector that according to the directions should already be in the car secured with blue tape. I am supposed to free the connector and plug into it.

My problem is that I can't find any 3 pin connector already in the car secured with blue tape.

As you can imagine, to get all of this work done to find that I don't have any access to power is VERY frustrating.

Does anyone have any clue where this connector might be and if there might really be a possibility that it is just not there for me to find? If it is not there for me to find, does anyone have any suggestions on alternatives?

Thanks,

-J

Here is a photo of the connector that probably is what you're looking for (connector C310).

In the fog light directions, step # 25, it says if the 3-pin connector is already being used by another accessory, locate the 3-pin connector taped to that other accessory's harness.

Thanks for the picture.

I will look again when I can find time to work on it again. Perhaps being able to work by sunlight instead of flashlight may help me.

I can't imagine that the car doesn't have the connector, I just can't find it for the life of me.

I will post again with what I find.

Take care,

-J

Got the lights installed and operating tonight, thank you very much for the help.

what stopped me is that the missing accessory connector was indeed there but was so covered with this black dirt that it blended in with the surroundings. I had a devil of a time cleaning as much of that grime as I could out of the contacts. Thank goodness that local pharmacy was ble to give me an irrigation syringe (no needle) to flush the connector our with alcohol.

Anyway, thanks again for the help.

Take care,

-J
