Default Trunk Struts Replacement

Hi All,

The trunk lift struts in my car are nearly dead. Two questions:

1. How easy are they to replace (any special tools needed)
2. Where do you get replacements, I checked Honda prices and they are like $70 each.

Default RE: Trunk Struts Replacement

very easy to replace ,pretty much self explanatory once you look at it..no special tools needed . 12 mm in most cases and a small screwdriver to remove a holding clip

you can get non-factory struts at Autozone, checkers , to name a few.. call your local part store and chk for availability
