Default Turn signal problem

My Honda which has been running well has developed an annoying glitch: The directional signal flash blink rate is excessively fast when making right turns but is normal making left turns. I did have one of the two 1157 front bulbs blown out so I had it replaced but the problem persists. All other bulbs are working but flashing too rapidly when turning right. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Either you got the wrong bulb in there or you have another bulb that is out. My guess would be that you have a second burned out bulb somewhere, make sure all your lighting wires are still insulated and not grounding out as well.

It is possible the guy put in the wrong bulb i.e. a two filament instead of a single filament bulb. I did not do it myself because the fender wheelwell splash shield has to be pulled out for access which is a PIA. You don't think it is a faulty flasher? Thanks for the prompt reply nonetheless.

Your problem is one lamp open circuited. Check to see which lamp is out and replace it. A bad ground will also cause what you're seeing, so it might not be the bulb.
They make it flash fast so you'd notice something is wrong. Unfortunately, not too many people seem to notice...

Good Luck
