Default turning causes idol problem?

hello all, this is my first post on this site, over the past two days i have replaced the intake manifold gasket on my 1992 honda accord ex-r, it was, as im sure anyone who has ever changed one before.. a blasssst . no just kidding it was actually quite a pain in my butt, anyways, we got it all fixed up and running, the problem i have now is that at idol, when i turn the steering wheel, the car idols down and if i turn it enough it stalls out.my collage instructor figures it is a "self adjusting idol"? i have never heard of that but i dunno. any comments of information would be great, i am going to try adjusting the idol tomorrow but if that doesn't work im out of ideas. thanks for reading.

Idle control system is supposed to hold the idle constant by working the IACV (Idle-Air Control Valve).

Here's a thread with something about adjusting the base idle.
