Default Unknown pilot light?

I just picked up a 95 Accord LX for my daughter. There is a small round red pilot light located on the center console, next to the emer brake handle. It is not mentioned in the manual, and neither the previous owner, nor local dealer have any idea what it is for.

Any ideas?

I would suspect it's an alarm indicator. If no alarm, it may be a relic of an earlier installation.

I don't find it too tough to protect my 94 EX anymore w/ it's faded paint job and slip-over seat covers. It runs just fine thank you, and I'm not into "profilin".

good luck

I'd also say it is probably leftovers from some type of aftermarket alarm system.
But you can always tell people it is the ejection seat 'armed'indicator. LOL
